Okay, so it’s six years later, and I’m watching this for the first time. Laughed my butt off, mainly because I’ve joked for YEARS that their stylists must have hated them those first two years. 😂 I’ve come to multiple conclusions since. I have a hunch that it wasn’t the stylists’ decision to dress them so outrageously. I believe that nothing happens with these artists without SM approval, especially back then, and my guess is that the higher-ups wanted 127 to stand out right away. The group was extremely talented, and the company was betting a lot on these guys, so the thinking was ‘put them in the wildest outfits you can find, they can handle it.’ Once folks paid attention, they would see how amazing 127 were. I’ve also suspected that a major reason why Winwin was thrown in was because his acrobatic ability would help get them noticed. Once that happened, SM could eventually move him to their long coveted Chinese group. I actually liked some of the styles: Jaehyun looks good in almost anything, and Taeil and Mark’s hair looked pretty good at times. (If there’s one good thing about Taeyong serving in the military it’s the rest his hair and scalp are getting. 😂) Still, I had some issues: Doyoung did not look all that happy during the “Limitless” era (and has resisted dyeing his hair ever since), and whose bright idea was it to put Chicago native Johnny in a New York Rangers jersey? 😂 Even now, there are some ‘fits I’m not crazy about: I don’t like them in baggy, oversized stuff, so parts of the “Ay Yo” music video annoy me. All the same, they’re so talented and gorgeous that I’m willing to forgive a lot. 💚💚❤️

Doyoung bc of his appearance, haechan bc if his unique vocal, but I cant find the first one. He was blonde with longer hair and I thought he was a main daincer, i thought it was haechan at first, but I was wrong. Maybe ill find a lyric video
